Some of the latest changes to Longwood University are not in the physical construction of the campus, but the new potential courses that are being made available to students. The Brock Experiences program was started in 2016 as a way of making traveling courses that will take trips all over the United States, as well as one that will bring students to the Arctic Circle.

ANN ARBOR, MI – Award-winning actor and best-selling author Hill Harper used his platform as keynote speaker of the University of Michigan’s Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. symposium Monday, Jan. 15, to say that the power of change rests with the people and that the time is now to act for freedom, justice and equality.

As you’re probably aware, Disney is in the midst of remaking many of their animated classics as live action moviesBeauty and the Beast was a notable recent success at the box office, and last year’s Jon Favreau-directed The Jungle Book was an absolute delight (and has a sequel on the way in October 2018). There are others in the works, including Mulan and Favreau’s version of The Lion King, but let’s not forget about Guy Ritchie’s Aladdin.
