Voters in Aiken County will be choosing whether to approve a fourth Capital Projects Sales Tax (CPST) in November, and on Thursday, Feb. 8, North Augusta City Council discussed a list with over $60 million worth of projects to consider.
During a two-day planning session called EnVision, North Augusta City Council talked about CPST projects, as well as other projects on the minds of City department heads.
City Administrator Todd Glover said the city has estimated it will receive around $25 million in funds over seven years of CPST IV. He said the county has estimated a total for the entirety of Aiken County to be around $163 million, but calculations the city has done estimate it will actually be around $104 million.
